A charge card is really a payment card issued to users (cardholders) to allow the cardholder to pay for a merchant for products or services, in line with the cardholder's promise towards the card provider to pay for them for that amounts so compensated plus other agreed charges. The credit card issuer (often a bank) results in a revolving account and grants a credit line towards the cardholder, that the cardholder can take a loan for payment to some merchant or as a money advance.

A charge card differs from a credit card, where it takes the total amount to become paid back entirely every month. In comparison, charge cards permit the consumers a ongoing balance of debt, susceptible to interest being billed. A charge card also is different from a money card, that you can use like currency by who owns the credit card. A charge card is different from a credit card and in that the charge card typically involves another-party entity that pays the vendor and it is reimbursed through the buyer, whereas a credit card simply defers payment through the buyer until in the future.
